MS SQL Server .Net 4.5 SQL Connection pre-login handshake error: 258 Error 해결 방법

A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the pre-login handshake. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The wait operation timed out.)(Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 258)   

 

Error Occured Environment : Windows Server 2012 R2 / MS SQL Server 2012(.Net 4.5, MS SQL 2008 package)

위와 같이 MS SQL Server 접속 시 서버에 접속은 성공하였지만 pre-login handshake 오류가 출력되는 경우 아래와 같이 해결 할 수 있다.

 

# Open CMD with Administrator

netsh Winsock reset

# Restart and re-try login on SSMS
